Bethany College has excellent opportunities for participation and representation in a range of sports. The College is a participating member of the Catholic Girls Secondary Schools Sports Association (CGSSSA) and the Sydney Catholic Colleges Sports Association (SCC). This provides elite athletes with the opportunity of representation at regional, state and national competitions.

The College sports program runs on Thursday afternoons throughout the year for students in Years 7-10. This is divided into two categories: weekly representative competition and recreational sports activities.

Students who wish to compete in the weekly representative competition attend a try-out session and if successful compete against other member schools of the SCC.

Students involved in the recreational program select a different activity for each term. All students in Year 7 must select swimming as one of their four options. Options include:

Sports Tours

In previous years, the College has organized sporting tours for students.

Destinations have included Queensland, Fiji and New Zealand.

Sports played at these events have included netball, oz-tag, hockey and soccer.
