The college offers students 14 years and over the opportunity to participate in The Duke of Edinburgh International Award.

This aims to motivate students to become involved in a balanced program of voluntary self-development activities. Students complete a range of activities in working towards their Bronze, Silver and Gold awards.

The program covers four areas:

  1. Skill: developing new skills in a selected area
  2. Volunteering: choose an area in the community that you can contribute to
  3. Adventure journey: complete an outdoor education experience
  4. Physical Recreation: participate in physical activity or sport
