"Life is not easy for any of us. But what of that? We must have perseverance and above all confidence in ourselves. We must believe that we are gifted for something and that this thing must be attained."— Marie Curie, chemist and physicist

Social Justice Initiatives

The College motto challenges us to ‘Act justly, love tenderly and to walk humbly with your God.’

Some activities are:

  • Outreach activities take place at an individual, Year or College level.  They include such activities as raising money for organisations that provide support to individuals in need throughout the season of Lent and making Christmas hampers for disadvantaged groups and individuals.
  • Issues of injustice are explored within the context of relevance to the different Year groups.   Year 10 students participate in a Social  Justice Day where they participate in workshops exploring issues of injustice in our community.
